Maggie in your AI tools

ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code and the command line.

    ChatGPT

    Search for Maggie AI Marketing in ChatGPT's apps and connect it, then sign in to CMO.so when asked. Until the listing is live: in ChatGPT open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, create an app with this URL and choose OAuth:

    https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp
    Claude

    In Claude (web or desktop) open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL and sign in. In Claude Code:

    claude mcp add --transport http cmo-so https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp
    Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and other MCP clients

    Add a remote (HTTP) MCP server with the URL above, or run it locally after signing in once with the CLI:

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "cmo-so": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@cmo-so/mcp"] }
      }
    }
    Command line

    The cmo command does the same from your terminal and CI. Changes ask first; add --yes in scripts and --json for machine-readable output.

    npx @cmo-so/cli login # sign in in your browser
    npx @cmo-so/cli inbox # what needs you now
    npx @cmo-so/cli results # the last 7 days

    npm i -g @cmo-so/cli # then just: cmo social ls, cmo ideas add <url>, cmo --help

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Everything you can ask Maggie in the app: check results (AI visibility, Search Console, posts published), see what needs you, review and approve LinkedIn drafts, add or generate blog post ideas, edit drafts and your business profile, and pause or resume publishing. Connecting a website and managing your plan stay in the CMO.so app.

    No. Every change is a two-step action: the assistant first gets a preview of exactly what will happen (and whether it uses an AI generation or a post credit), shows it to you, and only a second call after you agree makes the change. The preview is tied to those exact details and expires after 10 minutes.

    In your account settings on ai.cmo.so, open Connected apps and disconnect ChatGPT, Claude or the CLI. For the CLI, cmo logout does the same.

    Signing in gives the assistant its own access to your account, with your team permissions; you never paste a password. For scripts and CI you can instead create an API key in account settings (read-only if you like) and set CMO_API_KEY.
